ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility Plan

The National Battlefields Commission (NBC) has developed its initial accessibility plan to meet its obligations under the Canadian Accessibility Act. The proposed plan sets out the measures the NBC wishes to put in place to eliminate barriers to accessibility for the next three years, from 2023 to 2026. The plan will be updated every three years, and in the interim, annual reports will be produced.
Concerned about the quality of its services, the NBC has implemented several measures to facilitate access to its services for people with disabilities1. With a view to continuous improvement, the feedback process enables the NBC to gather comments on how it is implementing its accessibility plan and on the obstacles encountered by people with disabilities.
